BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- A California defense attorney said he delivered his closing arguments in a case despite suffering a major heart attack early in the day.
Michael Lukehart said he woke up with major chest paints at 5 a.m. Monday but he ignored the signs of the heart problem and went to the Bakersfield courthouse to deliver his closing arguments in a case, KERO-TV, Bakersfield, reported Wednesday.

Well, he's either dumb or dedicated, or maybe both, but it's always good to report the story of a devoted lawyer.  No indication in the story of which way the case is going.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - An American widow is selling her husband's burial spot directly above film legend Marilyn Monroe so that she can pay off her mortgage.  Elsie Poncher has put an advert on eBay to auction off the tomb in Westwood Village Memorial Park, Los Angeles.  "Here is a once in a lifetime and into eternity opportunity to spend your eternal days directly above Marilyn Monroe," says the advertisement.  "In fact the person occupying the address right now is looking face down on her."

This wins the poor taste award for the week.  And yet, someone will probably buy, and will be glad to pay for it.
